  OTHER GREAT LINKS

Bureau of Land Management

Graphical Display of the Federal Township and Range System  Gives information on Range, Township and Sections.

Topozone.com is great for finding cemeteries and churches.  It has all the jeep trails and such, but you do need to use the map wisely.  First you ask for the site you want, then when the map shows up, click on the first scale that you find 1/25.00 and that will take you to a larger view of the center of the map you just brought up.  It will have the site in the size font that you can read while the first one will not.

James Matthews of the Historical Sites Specials for Prentice, Thomas and Associates is conducting County, State and National Census Maps     Archaeological and Historical surveys for Eglin Air Force Base.  He is interested in identifying the locations of homesteads and historical information relating to the homesteaders.  If you have any information on homesteads of Eglin AFB, please contact James Matthews
