Padgett Cemetery

Located in about the center of the cemetery is a monument.  On the front is
the following:

On the back of the monument is the following inscription:

        This monument was erected 6/15/63 during the Padgett reunion in
memory of Elijah Padgett and family.  This family was the first Padgett to settle in
this part of the country.  His first wife, Susanna Eubanks, had eight
children, his second wife, Lottie Johnson, had seven children.
