last Thursday. Survivors are husband,3 children, mother & father, and 2 sisters.

Saturday. Leaves husband and a number of children.


N D 1912:	

D Mrs Gallup under such circumstances in Al last Sunday resulting in a prominent
physician of Florala being placed under $2000. bond, being an accessory to the
means that caused her death.


Jan 18 1912:	
D Mariam Catherine DILLON BAILEY, born in Wabash Co, Ind in 1844. Moved to 
Nebraska in 1857 where she married Mr Amos C BAILEY in 1872. They moved to 
Florida 1890. Three children, a son & 2 daughters moved with them. Jan 14 
Mrs Bailey died, burial at Defuniak Springs on Jan 15. Husband and 
3 children survive.

and neice of P Permenter. Burial Valley Cemetery.  

D  Mr R F MOORE formerly of this place, died at his home in Barberton, Ohio 
the 1st of this month, in his 79th year.

Niceville: 
D Mr John A EARLY died Monday. Burial at Rocky cemetery Tuesday evening. 
Leaves wife and seven children. 

D  Sunday afternoon Mrs Frank BUCHANAN was laid to rest in village cemetery 
with the babe that cost her life clasped in her arms. She grew to womanhood 
here and was visiting relatives in Florala, from her home in Geneva, AL. 
Survivors are husband and children.

D  Willie H BEARDSLEY died at home of his mother on So Park Ave last Friday 
and was buried Saturday.  Suffered from Tuberculosis for some time.
Survivors are mother, Mrs H A Beardsley, sister, Addie and 3 brothers.

Aug 1912:	
D  Miss Catherine MCRAE born Aug 17 1822, died Aug 30 1912 aged 90 yrs and 3 days.  
Was known as Aunt Catherine.  A member of Dorcas Congregation church. Her people 
moved from NC when she was but a child, but she remembered very distinctly that 
awful sight that awaited them at Ft Mims. The blood of innocent women and children 
masacreed by the Indians only a day or two before their arrival* was still on the
floor and door casing. Burial was in Dorcas Cemetery last Sunday Sept 1st. 
* The Ft Mims Massacre was on Aug 31 1813.

M Mrs O A WATSON announces  the marriage of her neice Miss Annie A COLVIN to 
Mr B D MCCAULLEY of Los Angeles, Cal,on  August 14 in Boston. The happy couple 
are spending a few days in Portlant & Old Orchard, Me. after which they will 
make a nine months trip around the world, coming home to Los Angeles about 
June 1913.  

M Mr H E GRAHAM & Miss Anna THOMPSON, eldest daughter of Mr & Mrs H W Thompson, 
of Bagdad were married last Wednesday and left on early train for Louisianna.
