Hello, with the help of our state director and coordinators, and in conjunction with our move to FLGenWeb, I finally have revised pages and added content. Sorry for the extended delay, and as I get the hang of things, changes should be fast and furious for the remainder of 2008. What you will see now (about August 1, 2008), are changes to the OBITS, LINKS, and MARRIAGES pages. The Marriages page will offer a lookup for Sarasota inception on 1 JUly 1921 through the end of 1939. I am postponing total revision of the site until the content is fully upgraded, but I expect redo this site to reduce the excess sitebar graphics. Suggestions and contributions, and even some of the page development are all quite welcomed. I realize that rather few researchers have multi-generation roots here in Sarasota County, but some of you transplants might wish to look here as well as your "older" roots areas.
