Gillette Cemetery Palmetto, Manatee County, Florida

Gillette Cemetery is on the West side of Ellenton-Gillette Road between Moccasin Wallow Rd. and Rocky Payne Rd. It is near the town of Ellenton, FL, but the address is Palmetto, FL in Manatee County.

Cemetery is called the Gillette Cemetery (originally the Gillette Family Cemetery), but then became a community cemetery with earliest tombstone of 1869. There was once a Gillette community; none existent today. Finally, the cemetery was named the "Gillette Cemetery, Incorporated." A trust fund was established for maintenance.
