If you are having a Family Reunion and would like to have it posted use the link at the bottom of the page.  Reunions accepted are for Lafayette, Taylor, Suwannee, Dixie, Madison and Hamilton Counties.   For further information the Contact person is highlighted with their e-mail link or other contact information is available.  Also, there's clickable links for the city in which the Reunions are held.

If you prefer having your reunions posted here, please submitt them at least six weeks prior to the event.  Supply as much information as to when, where and time the event starts.  You can also post your reunion information at Florida Reunions
 



SMITH-DIXON FAMILY REUNION

          A Smith-Dixon Family Reunion has been scheduled for
       Saturday, August 14, 2004, 10:00 a.m. to around 4:00 p.m.
       at the Brewer Lake Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Day,
       Lafayette County, Florida.

          There will be a covered dish luncheon somewhere around
       the noon hour, so bring your best vittles.

          This year is SPECIAL!!  We will be recognizing Aunt
       Lavada DeLaney's 95th Birthday.  You might want to write
       her a note of some item of remberance, and she always likes
       to get pictures of everyone--so give her a few memories to
       take home with her.

          All relatives and friends are not only cordially invited,
       but are urged to attend.  Be sure that all of your family
       know about this.

          Our Reunion President, Elouise Green, requests that you
       bring pictures or family things you could display, and come
       prepared to play your instrument, sing, or act, etc.  If you
       have other suggestions for the reunion, just let her know:

          If you or other members of the family have an email
       address--and did not receive this notice by email--please
       let us have the address for all the members of your family.
       Also, for Lafayette County residents with new addresses,
       please be sure we have those.  You can put these on the
       sign-in sheet at the reunion, or mail to the Reunion
       Secretary, Hugh M. Smith, (See below.)

          If you have anything for the family genealogy record (new
       additions, situation changes, facts, accomplishments,
       honors, happenings, family stories,--most anything good that
       you would like for your great-great grandchildren to read--

          Your Secretary has been unusually busy this past year.
       Anyone willing to assume these duties, please discuss this
       with the President.

          With so many new family members over the last few years--
       births and marriages--it is just nice for everyone to become
       better acquainted with everyone, and learn what's going on.
       Come, relax, and enjoy the day with your relatives.
