Dear Mr. Inman,
I am in receipt of your request for a list of County Judges from earliest record to date for Taylor County, Florida.
Enclosed is a list that I have reconstructed as best I could from documents in the Courthouse.
This list is not to be construed as completely accurate as to name or date but I believe is fairly close.
At the creation of the Taylor County, in 1856, the county
Judge was known as the Probate Judge and was called this until approximately 1869 when the title "County Judge" replaced the Probate Judge's duties.
