This cemetery is located in the Oakfield community, just south of Oakfield Road and north of “Car City,” between Old Palafox Highway and US29. It is no longer used as a cemetery. The property is owned by a construction company with deed restrictions on it.

The following is what was found and documented at the Hendrix Cemetery by Ruth Godwin in 1963.

1. Susan HENDRIX (no dates given)
2. Harriet HENDRIX, b. 1 January 1810, d. 24 April 1866
3. Nathan HENDRIX, b. 27 October 1800, no death date given.
4. Jacob HENDRIX, b. 28 Oct 1833, d. July 191?
5. Nannie HERRINGTON no dates given.
6. Thomas P. WALKER, d. 20 October 1892, 42 years old. (a rather large obelisk).

The Hendrix Cemetery was visited in June 1984 by Evan Strohl of the West Florida Genealogical Society (WFGS), who found only three partial stones. There is nothing left to add or confirm.
