Volunteers

We have begun here a list of those who have resources on the Columbia County area and are willing to do look-ups for others, from those resources.

If you are willing to do look-ups please e-mail us with what you are willing to offer, and any guidelines that you want followed per requests.

Potential Volunteers, if you have the time to go to the courthouse for look-ups, we will gladly post that here. Any fees or reimbursements you might require would be between you and the individual requesting that service of course. We would not be a part of any financial dealings. Only the 'listing' of the services here for the convenience of researchers. Researchers, it is only fair that someone asks for reimbursement for copying and postage, we all know that adds up quickly. In some areas volunteers will try and find obituary listings for others who do not live in the area, some will go to the cemeteries or will only volunteer for one cemetery for photos. These are 'some' suggestions as to how you might want to become involved.

The following, out of their generosity, are willing to try and help with the resources listed with their names. Please respect any rules or specifications they may set to the service(s) they are offering. Remember they, like all others connected with this FLGenWeb project, are 'volunteers' and their time is valuable, just like yours. Please be patient. People do have their own lives, and will get to your request when possible. Use a proper subject line so your message doesn't get deleted unread.
