| Probate | Estate files start in 1895. Dockets start in 1871. [Records filed from 1871 to 1895 destroyed by fire]. |
| Wills | Will Dockets cover the period 1871 thru June 1960. From June 1960 to February 1974 Wills were put into Probate Order Books. Starting with March 1974, Wills were docketed in Probate Docket Books. |
| Guardianship | Records start in 1868. |
| Marriages | Records start in 1876. Most of the applications for marriage indicate the age, race and location of birth of the applicant. |
| Common Law Marriages | A registry of Common Law Marriages is maintained by the Clerk. |
| Incompetency | Records start in 1946. Restoration of Competency may also be found in these records. |
| Delayed Birth Certificates | Records start in 1943. These certificates reflect the applicant's parents names and the place of birth of the applicant and his/her parents. |
| Circuit Court Civil & Criminal Records | Dockets books date from 1909 to present. Some files go back to 1893. Other related dockets date back to 1889. Separate records are now kept for civil & criminal matters. |
| Circuit Court Minute Books | Spring Term, May 10, 1875 to present. |
| County Criminal Records | 1906 to present. |
| Justice of the Peace Court | 1965 to 1972 [Abolished & returned to County Court in 1973]. |
| County Civil Records | June 7, 1908 to present. |
| Small Claims Court Records | September 25, 1951 to December 1972. [Abolished & returned to County Court in 1973]. |
| Board of County Commissioner Minutes | December 21, 1884 to present. |
| Tax Records & Tax Rolls | 1877 to present. |
| Brands & Marks | December 1875 to present. |
| Plats | Oldest plats show surveyors certificates dating back to 1886. |
| Sailors & Soldiers Discharge Records | Date back to July 22, 1919 |
| Mortgage Records | December 7, 1872 until transferred to Official Records in 1953. |
| Deed Records | January 01, 1875 until transferred to Official Records in 1953. |
| Official Records Books | OR books start in 1953 through present date. These records consolidated deed records, mortgage records, lien books, etc. |
| Juvenile Records | 1952 to present. |
