The Massalina Projects Roots Reunite

The Massalina Projects earlier tenants beginning around the 1950�s are in the planning stages of having a reunion on site at the Massalina Housing Apartments. This would be the first reunion that has ever taken place at Massalina and it would be declared a historical event. The projected date for the reunion is September 02-03, 2005. We have formed a committee and would like for former tenants to contact any of the committee members to give us your address for mailing of the newsletters and the updates.
The reunion will kick off with an award ceremony and introduction of the committee members on Friday evening September 02, 2005 at the new Glenwood Recreation Center. Saturday September 03, 2005 we would have Fun Day with foods for all participants and games for children of all ages. This event will take place on the formerly playground area in the projects. There will be a Teen Dance that evening for teen-agers under the age of 18 years old at the recreation center, formerly known as the "Rec". There are plans in the making for the older crowd on Saturday evening at several locations. We ask that if you have ever lived in or near Massalina, please let us hear from you ASAP.
