I am researching William Henry Sloan b. April 3, 1886 and his wife Lillie Delora Cain b. March 2, 1882, they lived
in Plant City. Willie died there in Nov. 11, 1973 and Lille died there Oct. 30, 1970. They are both buried in Memorial
Park Cem.
Known children of this couple are: Effie, Edith, Homer, Emory, Ellis, and Irma.
My Sloans came from Statesboro, Bulloch Co., GA. They came to FL in the early 1900's first settling in Sampson
City, Bradford Co., FL and then later moved to Plant City. There were very few Sloans in Bulloch Co., GA and those
that were there were there in the very early 1800's.
